Pear Jam

Research by the Allergy Unit of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney has identified that many people suffer from intolerances to common food chemicals such as salicylates, amines and glutamates. People who are unfortunate enough to suffer from intolerances from these chemicals (such as my daughter and I) can only eat a very limited range of fruit and vegetables. The only fruits are ripe, peeled pears and chokoes. ...more »

How about a Strawberry and Rhubarb jam? I think a Vanilla Bean and Strawberry Jelly or Jam would work too....

The Jam Spoon

Hi Beerenberg Marketing, it's Yalumba Marketing here. I have an idea for you...as your jam jars are so tall and rather narrow, it's difficult to either get a spoon in and not lose it or get very sticky fingers (ie; a teaspoon), or get one in at all (ie; a dessert spoon). Some years ago I came across a long jam spoon by French company St.Dalfour, with who I'm sure you are familiar...being providers of fine jam... Anyway, ...more »

New white label

The new label looks OK - but after a few days of handling it in and out of the fridge it looks quite 'dirty' . Much prefer the coloured label, much more colourful & sophisticated. Loved the balsamic beetrot relish which I bought today.

Apples!

After driving through Hahndorf and seeing the apple trees perhaps you could add to your range of apple products making apple butter or apple jam. Apple butter is a bit like pflaumenmus but made with apples to spread on bread or toast ;)

Mulberry Jam

Please, please, please, start making mulberry jam. I cant get it anywhere and it is the most delicious jam I have ever tasted.

My Grandma used to make it for me but has since passed on. I think she used to use the black mulberries.

New Jar Size

We love buying local and buy the Beerenberg Strawberry jam. The jar size is difficult to manage once you get half way through. It is too tall and narrow which means when trying to get the jam out, the jam ends up all the way up the knife, on your fingers etc. It would be much nicer to have a jar half the size and double the width (or something like that!) so that the jam at the bottom could be accessed easier. Please ...more »

Raspberry and Coconut Jam

Many years ago I was given a jar of breakfast jam which was raspberry and coconut. The combination was amazing and no one makes it. I would love Beerenberg to make it
